Our vision statement says that ‘parents, the church and the school will work together’ to lead and inspire the children. To help put this into action we have devised a practical way in which every family can contribute to the College community.
Our Parent Participation Scheme is designed to encourage a greater level of involvement. It also acknowledges and honours the invaluable work of volunteers who have pioneered this scheme in previous years. Every term each family in our community will be asked to contribute four hours of voluntary service within the school. The main areas of service are outlined in the Reference Handbook. We do understand that some families may find this practical involvement to be difficult from time to time. In such cases families may choose to pay an additional $40.00 per term in lieu of their four-hour a term commitment. This payment is not designed for profit, but rather as an encouragement to all families to be involved. After your submission, you will recieve an email copy of your preferences. Don't forget to record the number of hours you spend on any task on your PPS card at reception, so that our fees manager can be informed. |
